hey guys, hope all is well.

any help would be much appreciated on this: i accidentally unplugged the computer ( i am on windows 7), while the power was on and now when i turn it on i get the ''Select boot device are reboot message''. i think that the boot manager must be corrupt because of the sudden loss of power. any ideas on how to fix this? do i have to have the original windows cd, as this was bought from a shop and i dont have one.... any way this can be fixed quickly (can i make a usb windows 7 for example?) i hope the whole system doesn't need to be re-installed?

thanks in advance for your answers...

I had the same problem once, I took it in to get fixed and the problem ended up being my bios was corrupted, so they flashed the bios. I'm pretty sure that's what has happend to your pc. If when you press the power on button, the fans run, and then the pc stops, it is most likely a bios issue. I would make sure and double check with others, but that is what I think could be the issue. If your pc is turning, but not displaying anything on the monitor, then just locking up, it is most likely a bios problem.

But like i said double check with others, I am just giving you an idea as to what the problem could be. I could be wrong also.
