So I put my laptop charger half way in so I didn't really put it in all the way and it was charging so I didn't really notice. I went to sleep at 3AM and then woke up at 8AM because I was downloading a game, which I ended up deleting unfortunately because the downloader for the game got incredibly slow. Now the thing I am worried about if this putting my charger not all the way in could damage and software, components in the computer, like wireless card, processor, etc. Just a bit worried and I'm sorry if this is located in the wrong section on the forums I really didn't know where to put it so I just tested my luck if that makes any sense lol. Anyways thank for helping me... If you do :p

Solution
the only having the charger part way in does is not charge properly or wear out the socket. it does have the possibility to harm software if you have different power states set for plugged in vs not plugged in as changing speeds while installing something increases the possibility of data fragmentation.

dont be a fool, plug in your tool :p

Well thanks for telling me ahaha! I appreciate it. So it doesn't harm any hardware like the graphics card and such right? Pretty much answered my question but still confused and yeah I was half asleep so I never realised. Thanks again though :D
