TrueAudio disabled for HD 7790?

I know the HD 7790 is using the same GCN1.1 Bonaire chip as the slightly faster R7 260X so I was expecting to be able to use TrueAudio with it... but even with the Catalyst 14.3 Beta installed and Thief updated to 1.4 the only options I get with my 7790 for Convolution Reverb is either 'Off' or 'Software'. The 'TrueAudio' option is nowhere to be found. Mantle works, though.

Can anyone with a 7790 (not 260X) confirm this?

Solution
"Only three graphics cards support the new AMD TrueAudio technology – presumably these are the GPUs based on AMD’s new GCN 2.0 architecture while the cards that do not support it are presumably the rebranded cards from the HD 7000 series."

And from wikipedia

"Radeon R7 260X was announced on September 25, 2013. With a launch price of $139, it is based on the Bonaire XTX chip, a faster iteration of Bonaire XT that the Radeon HD 7790 is based on. It will have 2 GB of GDDR5 memory as standard and will also feature TrueAudio, on-chip audio DSP based on Tensilica HiFi EP architectur"

So, your card doesn't support it.

See how awesome google is?

Google is indeed awesome, but only when actually read in full:

Quote:
"AMD gave us an early peek at the R7 260X ....We know that it has some new features, and that, in a surprising twist, those same features were lying dormant inside the 7790's GPU silicon all along. We even know that driver updates will soon enable all of those features in the 7790. ...Those features are present in the R7 260X, and AMD says its current drivers enable the improved shaders and multi-monitor mojo in the Radeon HD 7790, as well. TrueAudio support will come to both cards later, in a driver update."
