I am trying to decide between the Radeon R9 290X or the GTX 780 Ti.I am going to be playing games like Battlefield 4 and other FPS games. I am hoping for the one with the best performance and that gives you the best FPS. Thanks :D

If you want shadowplay and g-sync get gtx, but if not I believe 290x would do you just fine as you can find good cards a bit cheaper than 780 ti.

I agree with Combine1237, also, their performances are so close it's a matter of brand & features. (Yet if you plan to do some crypto-currency mining get the 290X!)

Personally, I'd probably only go for a R9 290X if it has an aftermarket cooler like Sapphire's Toxic/Vapor cooler or that snazzy new MSI Lightning cooler. Otherwise, I'd probably lean towards the 780 TI.

Which one will most likely get the most FPS on battlefield 4 and Crysis 3?

The Ti will serve you better on virtually every other game. It's flat out better, also it runs quieter and cooler.
Crysis3 seems to run strange on the 780Ti, but it still beats the 290x by a small margin.

Go with the TI.

Here's a 290x for under $500. Is the 780ti worth an extra $200+ when even a 280x running Mantle isn't much different from a 780ti in BF4?
