intel i5-4670k Performing Poorly.

I recently got an i5-4670k but it has not been performing as well as described. I have scored a 5192 in 3dmark Fire Strike while others with the same exact setup were getting 6300+. I know it's not the GTX 760 because all games perform very well (ex: Crysis 3 Ultra@45fps.) I first realized the performance issue when a friend with the FX-6300 and Radeon 6750 was surpassing me in desktop performance and Autodesk Inventor rendering. I'm guessing it's a degrading issue but I'm not completely sure. Any ideas on the reason for the poor performance will be greatly appreciated.

Id suggest using a CPU benchmark like RoG Real Bench to test for CPU issues.... Firestrike's focus is on GPU benchmarking.

or use 3D Mark Vantage which has a CPU component ..... I get the following at stock settings (always set CPU to stock speeds when doing Graphics overlcoking)

Graphics - 74,806
CPU - 33,845
Total - 57,430
