I recently bought and installed a new motherboard to my pc and I've been having this problem. On max screen resolution, my desktop still wont fit the entire monitor. I went to update my graphics cards with Geforce experience auto updater and on the express installation of the newest driver, it got stuck on "uninstalling 3D vision drivers". I repeated this several times before trying to delete the "3D vision" by uninstalling the program. But the uninstall loading bar never moved. Nvidia control panel wont work for some reason and using the driver disc that came with the graphics card doesn't do anything. The only buttons that work on the Geforce menu are "express installation" and "custom installation". Whenever i use the custom installation it always says "an error occurred" and it closes itself. I could really use some help.
Thx

I'm having other problems too. The Sound is messed up and i cant hear it.

Its an old windows install.

Specs:
Graphics Card: Geforce GTX 650
Monitor: AOC 27" LED IPS Widescreen Borderless Ultra slim Widescreen Monitor (I Think)
Motherboard: MSI 970A-G43 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Solution
Well the issue is that your old windows install was on a computer (motherboard) with different hardware! It is recommended to do a clean OS install in those cases but you may be lucky and be able to repair and install the drivers for your new board.
