This is my first new build and I cannot find the power sw and the power led wire. Is it suppose to be like it? Is it a manufacturer defect? Help would be greatly appreciated. My mobo is Asrock z87 extreme 4.

Those are part of your case, not the mobo, if looking for the plugins they are on the opposite side of the mobo from the CPU towards the front of the case
