This chip will be paired with an HiS R9 270X IceQ X2 Boost

I'm likely switching to Intel because I am building a custom ITX case that measures 8.5" x 11" x 4", as you can imagine heat is a factor.

I am considering

7850K @ $150
i3-4340 @ $130
i5-4670K $190

Solution
Go for the 4670k if you want to brag about a nice OC. Also, the i5 4670k will last a LONG time. Even the 2500k is still very powerful nowadays.
My vote goes to the 4670k.
