As the title show. My current GPU clock is 500Mhz while the default clock for my GPU is 1000Mhz. Is this normal. And is 40C normal for the graphics card in idle state and ~35C for the CPU in idle state too ?

your gpu won't run at max speeds while you are just idleing. it will ramp up to the stated clock speed when gaming, and being within 5c of the stated temps is also normal. just try not to go over 85c max temps (i suggest downloading msi afterburner and gpu z in order to let you know what your card is doing while you are gaming

Ok thanks. Yeah.. Was using Real Temp and GPU - Z. This is my first build so I know a little about the cpu and gpu temps. It was running on .945V so I thought it was pretty high.
