Personally I would say the i5 if you are pairing with a discreet graphic card as they ar shown to have better performance.

If you are using a graphics card then the i5 should be your choice

i am recommend i5 because of ram. if u choose 2133mhz ram i am recommend a10-7850k. ram makes more different in apus. i am now have a apu 6600k and an fx6300 ( i am use 1600mhz ram x2 2gb ) ram score 7.6 in fx and 5.9 in apu same ram. so if u need high speed change ram. iam bet apu wins intel in many games by using dual graphics but little slower in video editing because of lack l3 cache. and apu is oc able but intel is locked.

Fast RAM makes a difference to graphics performance of an APU , but barely any difference to cpu performance .

both mobos are good. my config is gigabyte 970a ds3p mobo , fx 6300 , 2x 2gb ram @ 1600mhz , sapphire hd 7770 gpu ,2tb seagate hdd. processor score 7.4 , ram 7.6 , gpu 7.4 , hdd 5.9 . in windows 7 sp1 updated. play all games in high to ultra in benq 20" led monitor 1600x900 . processor is very cooler then intel while not in use 6300 goto 1.4ghz all 6 cores . 7770 give boost while converting videos so get more speed while converting .

cpu score not increase ok but the apu is over clockable but intel is locked . intel is also oc in mobo but not get high oc . check the apu score after oc.

Yes AMD apus have better iGPUs than intel, but that point is moot as he is using a discreet card.

He is getting a 270x which can not be crossfired with the APU, again, not sure what point you are going for.
