Only those two suppliers? How about ASRock?

If you wanted a beneficial upgrade this is worth the shot;
ASRock 990FX Extreme9 AM3+ AMD 990FX

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Features 12+2 Phase power design

8USB 3.0 Ports

Triple SLI support, with Xfire/SLI/Triple SLI cables included

4x Memory slots, supporting a mammoth 2450MHz DDR3 Ram speed

x16 / x8 or dual x8/x8 GPU configuration, best you can get for two GPU's

Premium Gold Capacitors for extra long lifetime

Hope this helps your decision.

yes, SLI is Nvidia and it will run a Nvidia card to it's maximum in the PCI-E X16 slots on the board.
