I have a problem formatting a USB HP 8GB drive. I've examined many solutions on here and other forums but none of the solutions listed work.

When I plug in the USB drive I'm immediately prompted to format the drive, but when I click OK, it doesn't work. I go into disk management and try the same but I get the below error. It's drive G by the way.

FileDownloadHandler.ashx

I've also tried following a suggestion to use 'clean' on CMD but that doesn't work either (See below screenshot). Any suggestions?

Link

Use Hp format tool for this stick.. it seems the drive has some protection which can be unlocked using this software or tricking registry.
