My PC has been turned on whole night, I just waked up and I saw black screen on monitor, I checked my PC case and I seen my stock cooler has falled from proccesor on GPU, it is Intel Stock Cooler, when I checked what temperature was on my proccessor it was 82, could this damaged my CPU and my GPU, should I worry about that? Anyway I'm getting for few days H100i, just tell me can my CPU be damaged from this temperature for whole night becouse the cooler has fallen down and can my GPU be damaged from cooler becouse it has fallen on GPU?

Solution
82 degrees is bad, and not knowing how long it was at that temperature is even worse, 82 degrees isn't destroy range, as it is withing operating temperature, but it isn't good to be at that temp for hours. Though i am sure your CPU hasn't had too much damage done to it, nor the GPU as a falling bit of plastic isn't going to do much to a GPU close by. Just to see, leave your PC idling and see if anything abnormal happens or any weird noises, if there is there is something wrong and if there isn't that's a good first sign. Then try some CPU/GPU tests to give it some stress and see how it copes, if all does will, there shouldn't be a huge disaster happening and all should be well.

I tested my CPU performance in Windows 7 system rating, it is 7.8 like it has been for all this time, so no worry? And my CPU temp now in BF4 is 60C-65C should i play it witht his temp?
