I have $425 AUD (400 USD) and I was thinking about upgrading my awful Acer monitor.

Here is a list of the primary things I would be looking for:

• A refresh rate over 60Hz.
• Good response time.
• Low input lag.
Quality.

Other specifications (such as resolution, physical dimensions, viewing angles ect.) are of less importance to me. However, I do have preferences here as well but none of it is mandatory.

• Resolution no larger than 1080p.
• Monitor size no larger than 24".
• G-Sync support would be nice.

Prefered sites are eBay (both national and international sellers) and mwave.

Solution
G Sync not in production yet. You can buy aftermarket add-ons.

Asus is good. For $400 in 24" and 1080p you could also get IPS and 144Hz. Or pay $150 without them.

VE248H - no IPS and 60Hz with 2ms GtG response. Or VGE248QE - 144Hz, 1mS, 3D
