HI all,

I have a computer that is receiving in excess of 2.3 volts. From my understanding this is too much, this was proven to me by my computer booting, displaying the warning message, "Warning 3.3 amps 2.304 volts" and then turning off and rebooting. This is an endless cycle, and I am worried my computer internals will be damaged.

My Rig: (if it helps)

CPU: I-7 3770k (None of my parts are over-clocked)
RAM: Patriot Viper 8 GB 2133 Mhz
MOBO: Asus Maximus V Gene
PSU: Cooler Master Extreme 2
GPU: Asus GT-640 (I did type that right)

Solution
The PSU takes the AC from the wall and produces all the voltages needed to run the PC properly. It would make sense then that if you have a voltage issue, the place to start would be the PSU.

Try swapping out the PSU.

Thanks for your quick response I will try that. I am still open for any other suggestions, however.
