People keep saying my FX 6300 is bottlenecking my GTX560 and I dont believe that, im running Bioshock max settings at 60FPS (I think it has an FPS cap) because its never gone higher or lower than 60 even when alot of stuff goes down. I get 120 FPS in TF2 and about the same in L4D2. It seems unreasonable that i'd be bottlenecked, I mean I run Minecraft at 600 FPS max settings solidly. (with optifine) which is a mostly CPU based game I doubt something that good could bottleneck the card.

If it hasn't gone above or below 60fps in Bioshock, check to see if v-sync is on in the Bioshock game settings. Turn it off and you'll see framerates change.

Sweet thanks, ill do that. But after 60FPS It doesnt matter how high my FPS goes ;p. But then again even while recording with fraps its not gone below 60 haha

No, I doubt the fx6300 is bottlenecking the gtx 560, unless its a very CPU intensive game, and not very GPU intensive.

Turning off v-sync will make for more visible tearing (bad) and will reduce input lag (good), but you'll be able to see the capabilities of your video card because it won't limit its frame output with v-sync off.
