Got a new pc 3 weeks ago, my dad bought it, and today I was playing some ArmA 3 when I started getting 10 fps when I usually get about 40 ish, So I asked my friend on teamspeak and he said check any processes running in background, none, so I enabled AMD overdrive in the catalyst control panel and restarted, nothing, My monitor turns on like something is showing, a lighter grey appears, then it turns back off, and continues doing the same, computer is on and working (fans and lights) all cables are in, I have tried leaving it unplugged and flushing energy by pressing power button when turned off,still dosent work, not even BIOS startup screen shows.

Heres the problem.

my parents will be really me mad at me if they find out, I have read up about opening it and resetting it with a buttton, but if I ask for a screwdriver they will ask why, and then I will probably be in a LOT of trouble,that and Im very uncomfortable with messing with pc parts as I have no clue. My pc does have a 2 year warranty but Im wondering if its voided from messing with BIOS :(?

is there any other way? I'm really worried as Im only 14 and this is my first proper PC.

Thats kind of stupid of your parents but i could understand. Thats weird thought. Is there any missing plugs you touched? like plugs onto the motherboard? it could be that. Or it could be your hardrives not loading properly. So when you start it its just black? hmm..... have you checked your graphics card for any missing wires or plugs? i had that problem before and it was my graphics card. Oh yea have you checked your memory(ram). Are they locked in tight?

Well honestly i would call fierce because obviously you tampered with the bios. And sometimes pc companys like that are in a hurry to get the pc built and ship fast asap. So sometimes with that they forgot plugs and wires and dont set in the ram properly. But i would call them and ask for help. Good Luck! :)

FIXED IT, SOLUTION FOR OTHERS!;

YOUR SCREEN WILL BE BLACK BUT FOLLOW THIS AS MINE WAS TOO

turn on pc
spam f button to go into bios settings
press f7 or whatever yours is to reset to default
press y then enter
then press f10 or whatever to save and exit
y and then enter
reset button on your pc
DONE!

You needed to put this info in the thread to begin with. You could have killed your CPU or motherboard since you did know what you are doing with overclocking. The company you bought the PC from will not fix things if you break them due to messing with settings you should not be.

Resetting the BIOS was the right thing to do, that would have been the first thing to do if you originally posted what you did.
