I hooked the hard drive from my old computer up to my new computer using an Apricorn drivewire. Then I deleted Windows 7 and all the program files. Now the new computer says I have to format the old hard drive. Is there any way to get around that? I had a lot of documents and other files on the old hard drive that I wanted to keep, and i didn't realize that the I wouldn't be able to access them if I removed Windows 7.

Best solution

a c 302 $ Windows 7

Try free data recovery software, and in future back up all your data to a second drive. Keeping your data stored on just one drive is not wise. Software here: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/filerecovery/tp/free-file...
