GTX 770 To R9 290X Is It Worth It?

I have recently been thinking about buying an r9 290 x to replace my gtx 770, ad was wondering if it would be worth while doing so.
My Specs:
AMD 8 core 3.5 ghz
8 GB of ram 2 x 4gb 1600 mhz
EVGA SC GTX 770
seagate 7000 rpm 1tb hardrive + a kingston 120 gb ssd
Benq 1080p Monitor 60Hz
and my motherboard is an ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0

Most games can be maxed out on a 1080p monitor with a 770. You'll get 60fps so no need for a higher GPU. The only game that requiresa high high end GPU is Crysis 3. Otherwise a 770 is plenty.

A 1080p 60Hz monitor can not refresh faster than 60fps @1080p.
