Do you have the two cards already? If your mobo doesn't support SLI I doubt you'll be able to use both cards. If that's the case, I'd look into another motherboard and make sure your PSU is at least 700 watts from a reputable company.

If your motherboard doesn't support SLI, why ask if it can? It can't, as you just said.

Well you could maybe plug in the other one as a dedicated PhysX card, but that would be a waste of money. Get a SLI motherboard if you really want to use these cards to the fullest.

i asked can i have 2 cards to improve all round performance but NOT pair them in sli. eduello`s answer seems the most feasible but i need to know about all round performance.

The simple answer would be No. If your motherboard can't SLI then it'll only recognize one card.

Nope, it will recognize both, but you cannot use them in SLI.

The only thing you can do is make one a dedicated PhysX card. Some computational programs can utilize multiple cards without the need for SLI as well. Though those are typically done on professional cards.

No, it won't improve performance.

One thing that doesn't require SLI but can do from performance boost with 2 cards is cryptocurrency mining.
However, 2 760's would be too weak compared to mining pools.
