A week ago my mate made a pc for me it worked well for a while but now it shuts down while gaming eg. League of Legends, Civ 5, Skyrim. The temps of the Cpu and Gpu are both sitting around 40-50c.
The Specs are:
NZXT Phantom 410 Mid Tower Case
NZXT FZ 120mm Blue LED Fan
Intel Core i5 4570
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit with SP1 OEM
G.Skill Ares F3-1866C9D-8GAB 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
NZXT Havik 140 CPU Cooler
Gainward GeForce GTX 770 Golden Sample 2GB
Western Digital WD Blue 1TB WD10EZEX
MSI Z87-G43 Motherboard
ASUS PCE-N15 Wireless N PCIe Adaptor
ASUS DRW-24D3ST 24x DVD Writer
Corsair VS650w Power Supply

Do you hear any audible "click" right before it turns off? Sounds like you might have a defective power supply. Your temperatures aren't anywhere near hot enough (they're actually very normal, actually, for gaming) to indicate a thermal limit shutdown.

If you hear a click right before it turns off, that's usually the circuit tripping the protection circuit and turning itself off. This is indicative of an internal failure inside the PSU. I would recommend either trying a backup PSU if you have one, or purchasing a new one and seeing if the problem repeats itself.
