I have a HP2133 that is flashing blue screen, then tries to reboot. I'm technically challenged, but NEED to get this computer running. I read that I should scan for viruses but can't figure out how to get to my virus software. All previous attempts to restore original settings or a safe mode result in blue screen.

Remove all USB devices and all optical discs (CD/DVD) and try again. This will rule out attempts to boot off of something other than the Hard Disk.

If you still can't boot, if you have access to another system with the same O/S, download either Microsoft Defender Offline and let it create bootable media, or (if Linux) create the Distro install CD/DVD from the ISO image, boot that and walk through the menus and it let it repair.

I also got these by pressing F keys.
HP UNDI PXE-2.1 v10.0.9
PXE-E61: Media test failure
PXE-MOF: Exiting HP PXE ROM

Another F key showed all options in parenthesis and said all devices enclosed in parenthesis had been disabled.
PXE Internal NIC Boot (enabled)
Boot orders:
1st boot device (Notebook hard drive)
2nd boot device (Notebook Ethernet)
I could not get them to save without parenthesis.
No add ons have been put on this computer. It does have a web cam installed (factory), but only factory installed hardware.

By pressing F10 & ctr S I Ann at the MBA CONFIGURATION MENU, but I have no idea what to try. Options are Boot Protocol: bootstrap(BOOTP), Preboot Execution Environment(PXE), Remote Program Load(RPL),

Next is boot strap type, options are:
Auto Detect, BBS,Int18th, Int 19h, but I have no clue what they do.

Your system appears to be falling back to other boot methods because it can't see the Hard Disk Drive (HDD). Try reseating the HDD power and data cables. If that doesn't work try removing the HDD and seeing if it works in another system, or on a USB/SATA adapter.
