What is the best and fastest memory for gaming?

The 1866/8 Ripjaws X is the best performance, the wider bandwidth at 1866 will more than compensate for the CL difference between it and the 1600/7 set, actually if you wanted (though you'ld lose the additional bandwidth 1866 provides, you can drop those and run them at the same 1600/7 as the Snipers .........performance DRAM tends to run

1600/7 1866/8 2133/9 2400/10 2666/11

and each step up is a slight increase in overall performance........I'd go the 1866/8 (also if your CPU's MC (memory controller) can handle it, these will fairly easily run 2133/9 also (nice little bonus) ;)
