Hi guys,
Forgive me for this annoying post but could you help here. I get bad latency from CS servers.
I have a good connection and get fairly good ping on speedtest and pingtest.
Recently the servers are lagging. I did a tracert and have posted the result below.
I've highlighted the IP causing the delay. What to do? Port forwarding? anything?

I hope I'm not violating rules. If I am, any moderator please solve my problem fast so that I can delete the post.

Solution
The end ip you are going to and the ones in the first part of your trace are strange. Neither come up in the global routing table but they are registered with apnic...both to companies in mumbai.

What I was attempting to do was to see how far from mumbai the early IP were to see if maybe it was taking a crazy path from your house to the servers. If you are living in mumbai and the game server really is also in mumbai then I have no clue.
Maybe these addresses are not advertised outside of india or something...I am to lazy to try to get into a ISP looking glass site in india to figure it out.

100ms would not be good but not be unusual if you were coming from say chennai or gurgano because of the distance.

If you and the server...

If you and the server are very close or in mumbai it should only be maybe 20-25ms and normally under 10ms.

Now if you are using a cellular modem for internet then you very well could be seeing 100ms delays because of how the technology works.

Well bill thanks for the info. Thanks so much for researching into my problem and yes I live in Mumbai (Bombay sounds better though :/)...Well I solved the problem. I just had to forward ports and my ping is back to the normal 1-2ms on those servers, which is weird because until a week ago I didn't have to port forward. Well my cable-guy told me that their ISP is changing...
I still don't understand why it was working fine before and now works only with port forwarding! ISP change impacts so much?
