Best single card for 4k gaming?

Due to my setup I cannot fit dual cards, therefore I simply need the best single card that I can get, but I don't have a lot of space therefore liquid cooling is out of the question.

Basically I can only fit a card with an air cooled solution.

This is for gaming on a 28inch 4k display using a i7 4770k, slightly overclocked to 4.0 but I can up it higher if needs be as it is water cooled. 16gb g.skills, raid 0 ssds.

295x2 is not an option because it probably won't fit my case and I wouldn't be able to find a psu for my case for that card anyways.

Is the kingpin the logical choice? Being that it's already clocked the highest and has a third party cooling solution? A superclocked titan black with an acx cooler makes sense due to the extra ram but I'm not sure I'm ever going to need the extra ram if I'm only playing with a single card, single monitor setup

780 Ti with 6GB of VRAM will coming soon from nvidia board partner

So, back to the EVGA GeForce GTX 780 6GB video card models. These new cards will be available soon at a starting MSRP of $549.99. That is pretty amazing considering the GeForce GTX Titan was $999.99 and the base EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB card was available for $519.99. You are basically getting a GeForce GTX Titan without the enhanced double-precision performance for a fraction of the cost. It gets better though! EVGA has told Legit Reviews that a GTX 780 Ti 6GB card is in the works. No timeline or pricing was given, but that would severely undercut the just released NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan Black series that was announced just last month.

The kingpin is NOT a logical choice, as over a regular aftermarket 780 ti you really arent getting a lot vs what you are paying for. the titan black would be your best option if you ONLY want to have a single card...otherwise if you are looking at spending that much on 4k gaming, you may want to invest in a bigger case.

Yes, the Titan Black is your best option, but if you can afford that, why not just get a bigger case and buy two 780's?

Because this time around I'm building around the case, I fell in love with a sff case and that put a wrench into my planning horribly, now if I think of the old setup I had planned with a thermaltake gt lvl 10 (my other favorite case) I just don't get as excited about the build. Going for looks and power combined this time around.

Basically, yes, if you're talking about the GTX 780ti. The extra RAM is helpful for 4K monitors (especially if you decide to add another one later on). If you only need 3GB RAM, get the 780ti.
