So I chose windows 8.1 pro as always and then when I got into windows 8 my keyboard and mouse didn't work. I don't want to do a system restore because then I loose a lot of apps. Including titanfall cause im NOT going to install the 50gb game again. please Help!!!

Solution
Ahh chipset driver = usb drivers must. So there must have been some problem with the installation of that.
Can you do system restore, go back before you installed the chipset. It does not delete the titanfall download, but you might net to reinstall it (from the hard disk).

Sometimes its like the USB ports freeze and it is just not enough to shut down the computer/restart. But you will have to shut down, then unplugg your computer from electricity wait for about 30sec - 1min (just to be shure that all electricity is gone, can push the power button while its unplugged to discharge it quickly). Then plug your computer back in and start it up. Hope this works for you.
