definitely wont fit in the mini-ITX case , but then neither would the motherboard so why worry about little details like that ?

In the m-ATX case yes it should squeeze in and perhaps even run for a few minutes before the power supply melts like the quality products from CM usually do

If you want room, you'll need a bigger case. One with room for GPUs won't fit in a backpack.
