FX 8320 4.7 Only multipliers and little voltage up

i oced it to 4.7 and i got max temps of 63.5C but just for a couple of secs ... avarge temps are 58C ... (prime95 30mins without errors) .. is that good ?

how are you running prime?

generally prime95 needs to run for 8 hours or so to turn up most errors. Are you sure you're not temp throttling? what type of cpu cooler do you have?

aftermarket hyper 103 ... max temps 63.5 avarge 58C and 57C ...

i will run it now for couple of hours

i run it on second option max heat nad stuff

ok. sounds like you're at the end of your overclocking. 4.7 is pretty good on air... most air coolers hit their limits on piledriver around 4.4ghz-4.8ghz

It is most-likely thermal throttling. As on my 212 evo which is considerably better than the 103, I can only get 4.5 Ghz out of it..
Download core-temp, then when you run prime 95 check to make sure that the clock isn't dropping...

im runing hwinfo ... and ai suite and hw monitor and aida64 and on all of them same temps ...

(i didnt run it all at a same time ..
