I want to build my first PC. Here are my parts though I'm struggling to chose between the R9 270x, gtx 760, or the newly released r9 280.

CPU: Fx-6300 w/ a hyper evo 212
GPU: 760, 270x, 280?
Motherboard: MSI 970A-G46 ATX am3+ ( Would this support overclocking?)
Hard drive: 1tb WD blue
Case: Rosewill Challenger
Ram: 8 gb vengeance 1600
PSU: Corsair 600 watt (Would this be sufficient if I overclock?)

I would like to run all games on high-ultra but don't know which graphics card I should go for. I am only going to be playing on one monitor. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Solution
The MSI motherboards with the 970 series chipset have had some failures due to overheating .
IMO use the ASUS M5A97 R2.0 . It costs a little more but is money well spent [ Avoid the LE version though ]

The Rosewill challenger is not as good as similar priced models from Antec , Corsair and CM . Right now the Antec ONE is the best deal

You can search online for graphics card benchmarks . Buy the best you can afford

Also consider using the FX 8320 .

to help select a psu . Just make sure its 80+ bronze or better and you should be fine
