Max Fan-speed damaging?

I have a ASUS HD 7970 Matrix Platinum.

One-press 100% fan speed
Instantly trigger the dual 100mm fans to 100% speed regardless of driver settings. This proves very useful in extreme overclocking and other heavy workload scenarios where rapid heat evacuation and max cooling are a must.

There is a button literally on the card that will push the fans to 100% speed. Would having these on permanently damage the card or fan in any way?

running the fan speed at 100% at all times most likely will shorten it's life span. if your temperature are in normal range then there is no need to push for 100% fan speed at all times
