Hello, I just bought some new corsair vengeance 16 gb from best buy and my pc turns on but my monitor doesn't respond...! My monitor is a 144 hz monitor and I'm using dvi connection but the monitor just says no signal...! I have about six ram empty slots in the motherboard so I just placed them side by side in the middle and even tried other slots and same problem, no picture signal...my old ram is also not working now too....!!

I previously had 4 gigs of rip jaw before and it worked perfect..and I removed that one for the corsair and nothing.. What is the problem? Are the ram sticks faulty????? When I placed them in they were kinda difficult to make them click in but I tried angling it to click it and then it placed. Size wise, it matches up.. So what's the problem? Could anyone help me? Thanks.

Are you saying that you have a motherboard that has sockets on both sides of the processor? Sometimes not putting the memory in the correct slots when only using two modules can cause your system not to boot. If you go and look at your motherboard manual it should show the correct sockets to use for your memory. If that doesn't work take out your battery and for a full minute with your computer unplugged then re seat the battery back into your motherboard. If that doesn't work just try using one stick, and move that one stick to the different sockets on your motherboard
