Hi Everyone,

Im currently saving up for a new storage drive as my old Sata II 500GB HDD is getting full.
Right now the Seagate 2TB SSHD and Crucial M500 240GB SSD are around the same price.
I currently play games such as Arma 2 (DayZ Mod), BF4, COD Ghosts, Crysis 3 and Arma 3.
I also am going to record video footage of these games to post on YouTube at 1080p (Using nvidia's shadow-play).

Which would be better the SSHD or the SSD.

My system specs:

AMD FX 8320 @ 4.2GHz
Gigabyte 990XA-UD3 Motherboard
MSI GTX 770 Lightning
8GB Crucial Ballistix Tracer (2x4GB)
WD SE 500GB Sata II HDD

Thanks
Andrew

If you are looking for storage get the SSHD if you are looking for an OS/program drive get the SSD.

An SSD is definitely better, but more expensive.

You could always put your OS and programs on an SSD and store big files on an HDD (or SSHD).

Since you are going to be doing videos, the SSHD is the best choice. The SSD would just be faster but you would have a lot less space for videos.
