Obviously, the different cards have different performance and stuff.
But I was wondering, is there a fundamental difference between the images that they produce?
So using the same computer, the same monitor, the same operation system, and the same in game settings, I noticed the graphics shown on my screen of specific games do look a little off after I switched my graphic card from ATI to Nvidia. There seems to be some small details that looked different even though the resolution is the same. Is that just my imagination? Theoretically, would the two images produced by the two different brand of graphic card look absolutely the same with nothing else changed including settings and such?
