good gaming headset

I was wondering what a good gaming headset is under $100 I want good mic and sound quality are the skull candy slyr good thanks in advance

I've heard some pretty good things about the Logitech G230.
It comes with a condenser mic, which in audio is extremely good quality.
I've used it a few times at a LAN center here in my city. The earphones are quite comfortable, as well as the head padding, and they lay flat when you want to put them away.

Don't get skullcandy, they're junk. I had a few different skullcandy earbuds and headsets in highschool because they were a fad. I took care of all of them but they inevitably end up breaking out of no where. You're just buying the brand, not the product so don't expect good build quality if you go with skullcandy. I currently use the Steelseries Siberia V2 and it's great. It has good sound quality, a good mic that's retractable, and good build quality. I've dropped the headset several times on hardwood along with general usage and everything still works perfectly. Honestly, you can't go wrong with this headset.

I use the Sharkoon X-Tactic 5.1. It's outside of your budget (around $150) but it's one of the best gaming headsets around.
