So you have a R9 290 and want to sell it to get a GTX780?
If you can make a 1:1 trade, AND you really want the more quiet, lower power consumption and Nvidia features, all by sacrificing FPS then go for it.

R9 290 is a little bit faster but both cards will max any game on 1080p so doesn't matter that much.

If youre not making a 1 to 1 trade for the 780, then just keep the R9 290, unless you're in utter need of any Nvidia features.
