Approximate Purchase Date: Around early May.
Budget Range: Around $900
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Video Editing
Are you buying a monitor: Yes, (BenQ Gaming Monitor, 144hz) upgrading from my Acer 24" that I'm moving to my audio workstation.

Parts to Upgrade: Monitor, Graphics Card, and possibly Power Supply and RAM
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg.

Location: Chicago, Illinois
Parts Preferences: I'm running AMD-Based. I don't mind ATI or Geforce, I use them both (I have my old 9800GT in my other computer for audio/minor video gaming)

Overclocking: Maybe
SLI or Crossfire: None

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080, 60hz atm

Additional Comments: Just preparing for a few next-gen games, Watch Dogs, Wolfenstein, Doom, and Tom Clancy: The Division.. running on High. I'm not trying to max out everything.

My current rig is:

Corsair Carbide Series 200R
FX 6300, 3.5Ghz, with an EVO 212 Master Cooler
8 GBs of Crucial (One stick, but I think dual channels is better)
ACER 24" @ 1920 x 1280
R9 270, Overclocked just a bit
a 430M Corsair PSU, Bronze Certified

Why Are You Upgrading:

I recently built this computer in February (1st build), and everything runs absolutely great. BF4 I run maxed out, with no AA, at about 40-80fps on just about every map, even on 64 player servers.

I'm upgrading the monitor because the latency truly does affect my reaction time in CS:GO, and other precision based games like Shootmania for example. It feels better. I do experience a bit of a latency when frames drop to about 40 too, particularly in games like Titanfall.

I might stick with the R9 for awhile, not sure though. I'm definitely upgrading the monitor, and I'm considering the PSU.

Let me know! Thanks!

You will need a liquid cooler, but if you sell off all your old parts, you can get one.

Thanks for the reply!

I'm not changing the processor, mobo or anything, but yes, I am going to upgrade the PSU.
I might as well add another stick of RAM, since some of the audio editing and multi-tasking I do actually might eat some stuff up.

As for the graphics card, I've decided I'll just remain with the R9 270 until I truly have to upgrade. Or at least until GeForce lowers their prices on their stuff.
I mean, I just built this computer, so I'll give it time.
