My computer keeps randomly shutting off when playing games. Sometimes I can be playing for 8 hours and it shuts off, or 5 mins. I've looked at both my CPU and GPU temps and they seem to be fine. This started happening when I switched my PSU and GPU. Everything in the link is my computer, just the GPU and PSU are different.

Gtx 660
600w PSU

* When it does shut off, its quick, 5 seconds, and then starts back up right away.

The link is blank. Probably your problem is faulty PSU. What brand is the PSU?

Link works for me, odd. It's a ThermalTake PSU.

Well there is your answer. Thermaltake aren't a name associated with quality PSUs. If you could try with some other PSU and see if the shutdowns will appear again.

What would be my option? I bought it from Best Buy and could say it is a fauly PSU, but they would probably only give me in store credit to buy the exact same brand. Seems like im out of luck.

Well at least replace it, if it is still under warranty, so maybe with the new one the shutdowns will disappear. But in the future, get something from the brands such as :Corsair (avoid CX units), XFX , Antec or SeaSonic
Hope this helps
