Dying Green Pixels

Okay so I was flipping out so I tried to screen capture the green pixels but didn't show up to other people. That's good. I've also noticed that when I drag the image box over the green pixels they disappear and inside the image block is clean of green pixels. So it isn't my GPU overheating/dying, right? I mean doesn't this sound like an OS problem?

I used a different monitor and it didn't happen, but this was before I upgraded my GPU. However I do not think this is my monitor because I've used it on a Mac for two years and worked fine. And that whole image selection removing green pixels kinda lends me to believe something's wrong with the OS like you said.

I think I found the issue. I installed the two Nvidia drivers without cleaning the other drivers. I'm removing both with DriverSweeper and re-downloading. And I haven't seen anything in BF4 or Minecraft, but it's mostly on the desktop, pictures, black spaces and web-browsers.

I will try.
So this is Isn't my graphics card, right? I uninstalled all the drivers, the pixels are gone (or they are just playing that peekaboo game where they appear 30 minutes later). I'm re-installing the latest now. Also just a question, if it WAS my monitor or graphics card, why would the pixels disappear when I drag a selection over the portions that it happens?

Okay they are still here I've reinstalled the drivers and sent the printscreen pictures to a friend so on a different monitor it's not broken. I think it's just a corrupted OS.

No I don't but I think I'm going to sell this computer anyways to get the cash for a new build. And I don't have another monitor laying around. But I'm lead to believe that something's wrong with the OS because its all pixely but then once you apply a transparent color over it like an image canvas it disappears. It happens on the desktop, browser, and in games, but only around text. But does this sound like a GPU problem, Monitor problem, or OS problem?

Well I'm taking it up to shop on Monday to review the computer's issues and to sell it possibly. If I do get a new computer I''m taking the GTX 660 2GB with it and if it's still there I would assume the graphic card's the issue. Thanks!
