I'll be in the middle of playing World of Warcraft, and then the message: AMD Drivers have stopped responding and successfully recovered pops up, and tabs me out of my game. Then, it tabs me back in, gives me a black screen, thus forcing me to restart my computer. I cant tab out, I cant ctrl alt delete either...
I am on Windows 8, running WoW on high graphics.
I have tried updating drivers, editing registry, and its not over heating.
Really starting to get irritating tbh, if anyone could help that'd be great.

I got this same exact problem with Nvidia last night. Only happens to me on a game called Smite (they had a new patch released yesterday).

I run the game, starts to load up and both my screens go black (I have 2 monitors), that little message pops up, and everything freezes. I am forced to restart.

Windows 7 x64, all my drivers are up to date too.

You are not alone!
