Dual boot an oem win 8 with win 7 pro 64

I have an oem win 8 64bit dell inspiron. I want to create a dual boot win 7 pro 64bit. I have a win 7 pro dvd & key. So can someone help me to achieve this? All the forums that I have seen explain how to add win 8 to an oem win 7, but it seems like the same would not be true for me since I'm trying to achieve this set up the other way around. Someone please help!

Should be fine, main difference being W7 will be default OS.
To ensure smooth install (Assuming on same HDD?) best shrink 'C' to create enough Unallocated Space to install W7 on, and leave it as Unallocated, don't format or create a new partition. Install direct to the Unallocated Space when you get to 'Where do you want to install Windows'. Hopefully this will avoid some of the issues others have had regarding installing W7 to a GPT disk.
