Hi,

I am talking about Diablo 3. I use a certain program for the game which runs the game while I sleep, a bot basically. Moving on, there is certain stage of this running that the program throws an error which I will post below. After this error my FPS DROPS to 15 being the maximum and 10 being the lowest. Everything just pretty much goes downhill. This also causes my CPU to go way up and in the end I get a BOSD when I check on the program hours later. Keep I've never experienced BOSD ever and I've had my comp for over 2years..it only is when this certain error causes my FPS to drop, I just want to know if I need to replace something or what to look for incase something is needed to be replaced.

Specs:

Obviously I don't expect you guys to know what it means as I already asked the other forum.

Yes, and no.

I did do this "graphic card reset" and didn't install CCC which just caused my FPS to drop like crazy and game crashing instead of BOSD (now I get BOSD if I have CCC installed, before as I just said, it would just crash my game and would go non responding)

Quote:
Go in your Device Manager, right-click on your graphic card and select to Uninstall it. Check the option to Delete the drivers on uninstallation;
Shut down your computer;
Unplug your computer completely, make sure you have no static on you (ground yourself) and open your computer case;
From there, unplug completely your graphic card from your motherboard for a good minute and plug it back in;
After that, reboot your computer and let your graphic card drivers install themself;
Don't update them yet, use your computer and see if you get anymore BSOD;

Possibly, but as I will link below its a common error with this bot apparently but I want to make sure it's not my hardware thats banged up.

How would I test certain hardware/things to look at for hardware failure? Also just downloading the latest CCC would install up-to-date drivers, right?

How could I test my other hardware for failure? I want to make sure it's not my CPU, etc being fried or something. I've never BOSD prior to using this.

I think I found the problem as I was watching the program play the game and once I got the error "out of sync" my CPU usage for Diablo3.exe (the game) dropped slowly until it hit 0 (crashing) but 1) temps were ok 2) CPU usage stayed extremely low for everything.

Any tips? As soon as I stopped the program it all came back to normal. I do remember messing with hyperthreading on my BIOS before, would this be a variable why this bot is making my game CPU usage to crash?

Anything regarding this random CPU drop to 0?
