Am I better off with the X2 340K or the X4 760K for my rig?

cool, thanks, i wasn't sure. am i looking at any bad bottlenecks with this build? i'm kind of stuck with this board.. else i'd go with an FX.

also, should the 1GB card be good? i only use 720p on my 19 inch monitor.

dammit- i picked your answer as solution. not that it wasn't a good answer- but my eyes seem to wander to that button before their intended course the "Reply"! anyway cool, i'm looking forward to enjoying Watch Dogs and the next installment of Mass Effect.

cool. solved! lol.

i have another question-- you guys have been helpful so, not accurate section but will ask: i updated my bios through windows the other week.. but the antivirus picked interfered with it and caused a program error. so i disabled the antivirus etc then tried again. it did its thing, rebooted, finished the important stuff via it's gui prompt then printed success. im still worried that the initial mess-up may have caused some damage. could that have- if so would i know with minor damage, is that important, and is it possible to re-flash?

can't test it now since machine is sitting in a corner somewhere till my newer parts arrive. it's impatience to ask. yet i'm really curious. any ideas?

great- i hope all *is* well. it does seem like a bad idea to do it through windows- but the programs are more enticing than finding a utility to make a bootable disc. They should include a program to do that, instead of one to do it (or start it) through windows. i mean- i don't *think* it's as simple as copying the files to a USB through Explorer then booting- is it? Some sort of config file or something must be written, i'd think..
