need help with OC my old pc

i have an old pc that i would like to try and OC
the mobo is GA-EP43-DS3L
and the cpu is an intel 2 duo E7400
my cooling system is that in the cpu box
i use the old thermaltake armor
i am a noobie in this topic can someone help me out?

Well is your BIOS locked or unlocked as far as overclocking parameters? Can your old PSU handle overclocking? Can your stock cooler handle overclocking? I'd run a proper burn-in as it is at stock first, just to make sure everything is up to par before you begin. I suggest Intel Burn Test with most of your RAM enabled. Pay close attention to your temps, and terminate the test if it starts getting overheated so you don't break anything.
