Hello Guys,

I got the same problem which i faced previously with my old computer.
Previously i had some very low end PC with:

# Gigabyte M61pmes2p motherboard (Bought in 2009)
# AMD Sempron 140 (Bought in 2009)
# RAM DDR2 4GB
# Samsung Hard disk (Bought in 2009)
# Power Supply Frontech 450W (Bought in 2009)
It was overheating all the entire board and RAMs,heatsink/cooler EVERYTHING... in just mins and after that it was shuttingdown.

I thought my motherboard was problem.

So I bought a new motherboard and CPU and i was facing the same problem with overheating (in 5 minutes).

New motherboard and CPU:

#G31 Gigabyte motherboard
#Intel core 2 duo

Any help would be highly appreciated thanks.

You need to check the thermal paste, also, what are the specs of the new build? I would go for Asus boards as they are the most reliable.

Did you check the thermal paste on the cpu block? Chances are, there is either too little or too much which causes it to overheat

If the paste is applied right; I had a gfx card in a somewhat cooled system and it ran for years. Computer slowed down and froze when I put it into a traditional case with fans that sit there and spin and dont do much else. If paste doesnt work try opening the side of your case and putting a fan on it. Watch the fans to make sure they operate properly too.
