Hello, I'm considering these two headsets... I can't honestly find anything better. I'm going for "True 5.1." and I'm not looking to spend a bunch of money on a Razer "True 7.1" Headset. Is there anything better than these two? Or, what's the better of these two headsets?

And I refuse to go back to stereo. 7.1 digital wasn't all that impressive either. I'm leaning towards the Kave XTD, because that has a butt ton of features. I feel like the Voice change one could come in handing for jesting with my friends. Haha.

Solution
The quality is in the detail. 7.1 and 5.1 and 2.1 is usually only emulated. It's only as good as the software driving it. I'd be happy with a Corsair set for half the price you're looking at.

The Roccat has 3 drivers per earcup - which is good if done properly. Newegg doesn't give much detail. I think you need to google reviews.

Both Tritton Pro 5.1 and Roccat Kave XTD 5.1 use True 5.1. I've goggled review's on both... and I kind of liked what I heard on the Kave... But the Trittons have gotten some good reviews, but my problem is that those reviews came from console gamers. Lol. (I'm somewhat of a PC snob. I don't trust all console gamers)

So, I just did some more research. The Kave XTD's are far superior. Bigger drivers and sub. And people keep saying the Kave's are more comfortable. Clear winner here. Thanks for the help! The Kave XTD costs a bit more, but quality wise, it's better.
