Hey guys,
I am trying to decide for my build which GPU I should get. Now this decision is very tough for me which is why I brought it here, hoping you guys could point me in the right direction. Anyways the MSI GTX 760 I had planned for my build is about $260. That said, the 3GB MSI R9 280 is only $20 dollars more! I saw this deal and I freaked out because, although I was originally going to use an AMD card, I realized that the Nvidia shield might be a cool addition later on for pc gaming on the go. However, from what I have read, the R9 280 is superior to the GTX 760. So, my question is, is the shield worth it to lose out on what I believe is a great deal on an outstanding card? In other words, if the R9 280 is a better card after all, should I give up the Nvidia shield oppurtunity?

Also, $280 is basically the farthest I would prefer to extend my budget, as I want a well-rounded pc, not a strictly gaming pc, otherwise I would probably pick up the 770.
