Hi everyone, Till now we all have heard from our parents that PC games gives virus and it slows down the PC ect ect.

I know its not true but in my Case I think it is True.

I re-installed my Windows thinking that Something is wrong with my Windows because my PC was running exceptionally Slow . After Re-Install my Windows, Everything was Normal . I was getting about 50 Frames on BF3 on Ultra but as Soon I started Installing all my Games again ( 180GB ) then I saw that my BF3 started to Lag . I mean there was no Drop in Frames it seems like my Computer was Freezing , When The Game Freezes then the FPS Remains at 50 and everything gets Normal for 3 to 5 min .

As there is not Drop in FPS so its not GPU . I know that my CPU ( Core 2 Duo E7500 ) is creating a Bottleneck but then why BF3 runs normal when I've not Installed those Games .

P.S - My Processor usage is about 70% when do Browsing and is 100% Constant while Gaming . A Core 2 Duo should not be at 70% when only Browsing Internet . Even Pentium 4 stays at max 15% while Browsing .

Please Answer :)

Solution
It may cause some slowing down issues. Have you tried defragmenting the HDD?

It shouldn't cause the PC to freeze though.

That sounds like a driver issue.

but I use HDD's not SSD . Does this apply on HDD too ? My HDD is not 80% but 80% of my HDD space is : 743 GB and right now I'm using 739 GB Its only 5 GB away from 80%

@Everyone, I figured it out . While Installing a Specific game It installs Nvidia Physx Driver and as I have a AMD Card so It was messing things up . I've un-installed the Drive and now everything is Fine .
