How do I know whether I need peripheral cable from PSU or not?

Hi! I just begin my first build. I am using a full module 760W PSU but I don't know whether I should connect peripheral cable on it or not. Could anyone give suggestions?

If any of your components need one then yes, otherwise you don't have to

Yes, hard drives, graphics cards and optical drives need a type of power connector from the psu.
