So its the end of semester, and im going to make an external graphic card unit for my laptop, my laptop is very weak really, intel hd3000 isnt build for gaming so its really need an upgrade... im gonna use my old GF 9500GT for the project which use dvi cables....I have a little knowledge about this, so if anyone have the exp, pls share it here.

very few laptops have the necessary ports to run an external card, does yours?

Not sure that a 9500GT would be any better than a HD3000 it's several generations old.
