A decent, precise gaming mouse is gonna cost ya about $80 and a gaming style keyboard is gonna cost ya around the same.

Look at Logitech G5 or better http://www.logitech.com/en-au/428/359
Look at Logitech G15 or better http://www.logitech.com/en-us/441/180

Anyone can get a $10 mouse and a $10 keyboard and they would do the job ok, but getting gaming grade parts costs a lot more because they are far far better in terms of precision, feel, functionality and customisability, if that's a word.
